Love your teachers? Give them the best Valentine ever! Nominate your favorite teachers for our school’s Teacher of the Year award.  The winning teacher will be announced April 3 in a surprise celebration at school, where he or she will receive prizes donated by local businesses, have his or her name on a Teacher of the Year banner at our school, and be honored at an April 28 Canyons Board of Education Reception and Honors Ceremony. Our Teacher of the Year also will have a shot at Canyons School District Teacher of the Year, which comes with additional prizes, honors at the school board’s Apex Awards next fall, and entry into the Utah Teacher of the Year contest.

To nominate a teacher for this award, please download and fill out the pdf form below, print it out, and submit it at the PTSA table during parent/teacher conference Feb 3rd and 4th or in the office by Feb. 28. The School Selection Committee will consider nominees forwarded by the PTA and by school employees.

Also, watch for information in March on how you can participate in the April 3 Teacher of the Year surprise announcement.
