Dumbledore and McGonagall

Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall thank you for helping us reach our goal of $4,000 at the Albion Book Fair! This money is used to purchase additional books for the library so we can keep it stocked with current titles. As a reward Principal Darrell Jensen and Librarian Marianne Bates dressed up as a reward for Albion's fantastic students

Albion’s debate team took home some major trophies from our first tournament on October 30th at Mount Jordan Middle School!

The results from Beginning Oratory Speaking are:
1st Place- Jack Cook
2nd Place- Stephanie Triptow
3rd Place- Aislinn Mitcham
4th Place- Brayden Marsh
5th Place- Kelsey Hagman

Kyla Hoster won 1st place in Advanced Oratory Speaking.

Spencer Fackrell won a 2nd place speaker's award in Advanced Lincoln-Douglas Debate.
The results from Beginning Extemporaneous Speaking are:
1st Place- Alex Salt
2nd Place- Bjorn Waugaman
3rd Place- Alex Duncan
4th Place- Evelyn Krallis
5th Place- Adam Ranck
6th Place- Redd Owen

 The results from Advanced Extemporaneous Speaking are:
1st Place- Ann Day
3rd Place- Meghan Hawkesworth

What to expect: An informal meet and greet with candidates running for election in federal, state, county, and local elections. There will be no formal speeches made by candidates.
